This Privacy Policy describes how KalELConnect ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application KalELConnect (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address when you register or sign in.
• Social media tokens: OAuth access tokens for TikTok and Instagram, stored securely to enable publishing on your behalf.
• Content: Videos and images you choose to upload or publish through the App.
• Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the App (e.g. features used, errors encountered).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your account.
• To publish videos to TikTok and Instagram Reels on your behalf, using the official APIs, only when you explicitly initiate a publish action.
• To improve the App's features and fix issues.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• TikTok – to publish videos via the TikTok Content Posting API.
• Meta (Instagram) – to publish Reels via the Instagram Graph API.
• Supabase – our backend infrastructure provider, used for authentication and secure token storage.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the App's Profile screen, which permanently removes all your data from our systems.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us or using the in-app account deletion feature.

6. Security

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our database and are never exposed to third parties beyond the platforms they authenticate with.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
